Thomas and Trevor/Duck Takes Charge is a Ladybird book based on the second season episodes, Thomas and Trevor and Duck Takes Charge. It is illustrated using photographs from the television series.
Plot
Edward brings Trevor to the yard so that Thomas can take him to the harbor for work. Thomas introduces Annie and Clarabel to Trevor and they like him. Trevor also enjoys giving the children rides and is sad to leave when the work is done. Thomas tells him that he might be needed again some day.
The new engine Duck arrives on Sodor to help Percy, but the big engines tease him. So Percy and Duck decide to get revenge on the big engines by blocking their entrance to the shed. Sir Topham Hatt chides the big engines for their behaviour, and sends Percy to work on Thomas' Branch Line as he had previously promised.
