Thomas was given his own eight of Troublesome Trucks, they only appeared in the ninth season episode, Thomas' New Trucks and were later reused as flour trucks for the tenth season episode, Follow that Flour.

After Thomas' trucks started getting old and unreliable, the Fat Controller arranged for him to get new trucks. After failing to keep his new trucks clean, Thomas tried his old trucks but only caused delay when they were destroyed in a crash.

Basis

The trucks are based on BR 7 and 8 plank end-door open wagons. 

Livery

Thomas' old trucks are painted dark grey with black, rusted frames and do not have faces.

Thomas got eight new green trucks after his old ones were deemed too old and unreliable. Thomas tried to get his new trucks to stay clean, but they thought otherwise. Eventually, Thomas decided his new trucks would rather feel useful than clean.

  • The trucks were later seen in the tenth season episode, Follow that Flour being used for flour, albeit with their faces removed. They were later reused as standard trucks.
