The old ship was an old wooden sailing boat.
The old ship used to spend most of it's time underneath the Three Tier Bridge, on the side of the river. On a few occasions, it worked at the Norramby Fishing Village. Some time later, the wood from the old ship turned out to be useful for fire wood. The old ship was then taken to Brendam Docks, and was kept there until people found the time to chop it up and turn it into fire wood. During it's time at Brendam Docks, holiday makers came to take photos of it. Salty had once told Henry why the old ship was kept there, in which the green engine suggested that it's mast could be reused as the new flagpole for Castle Loch as the original flagpole had been broken.
