The Midnight Ride of Thomas the Tank Engine is a book.
One Christmas Eve, Thomas is asked to take a midnight train of Christmas presents to a children's hospital. All goes wrong when falling rocks break Thomas' lamps. Thankfully, he finds an alternate source of light in an old lantern and strings of Christmas lights. The way to the hospital is led by two policemen on motorcycles and Thomas arrives safely to the joy of the hospital staff and children.
