- “You begin with 'W', William!”
The I-Spy Game is a magazine story.
Daisy takes lots of children to school every day. The children like to look out of her windows and play games as they go along. One day, a little boy called William comes up with a game to find as may things beginning with "W" as they can. One little girl spots the windmill on the hill and her sister spots a water-tower. A few minutes later, William sees the big wheel on the Watermill.
As they clatter along the shore line, the children spot water, waves and even a windsurfer. The children have now found seven things, but they want to find ten before they get to the station. As Daisy approaches the platform, the children look out of the window and spot a guard with a whistle. Now, they need just one more thing. Little William is disappointed that they cannot find it, but Daisy laughs; the little boy begins with the letter "W".
