Trivia

  • Strand VCI Entertainment originally recorded their tapes in SLP format. Upon the release of Better Late than Never, they rerecorded their tapes in SP format. These copies featured a sticker on the bottom right of the front cover which read "RECORDED IN SP (standard play) with Enhanced Sound and Graphics".
  • Strand VCI Entertainment changed their name to Strand Home Video in 1992. Due to a possible surplus of the 5 tapes featuring the original masters, some copies with the Strand VCI logo were placed in the re-release covers.
  • As there was only one round of nameboards between episodes, the "Next Story Coming Up Soon" card was shortened to "Next Story Coming Up". The same shot from Trouble in the Shed is also used for that card on all five tapes.
  • The opening variation of the theme tune was used for the nameboard intermissions after Trouble in the Shed, Percy Runs Away and James in a Mess.
  • A trade ad for video and toy gift sets shows Tenders and Turntables with an ERTL Toby in UK packaging.
  • Trust Thomas and Other Stories features the Strand VCI Entertainment logo at the beginning of the tape.
  • The FBI Warning screen was outsourced from Warner Home Video.
