|Spencer's special coaches|
Spencer has his own set of at least three coaches for when the Duke and Duchess of Boxford go on holiday. Between the seventh and eleventh seasons, they were identical, to the special coaches owned by the North Western Railway. The coaches decreased in size in the thirteenth season and also received a new design.
In Happy Birthday Sir!, two extra coaches were added. They are referred to as Pullman Coaches.
In the classic series they are painted maroon with a light red stripe across their length and have silver buffers. In the CGI series they are painted red with gold lining and have black buffers. The Boxford's crest is on the doors.
