“Huh! I can run on any railway, any track. You'll see!”
― Gordon

Sir Handel is a short magazine story.

Plot

Sir Handel is visiting the standard gauge railway for a day. He is excited, but Gordon scoffs at the fact that he is on a flatbed. Sir Handel explains that he is narrow gauge and cannot fit on Gordon's rails. Gordon thinks this is silly and that he can run on narrow gauge track. Later that day, Gordon is pulled into a siding by the narrow gauge railway and notices how small the rails are. He soon regrets what he had said to Sir Handel.
