Night Lights! is a 1995 magazine story.
Thomas and Percy are working late in the yard. Some workmen put up spotlights so they can see. Henry is trying to sleep, but cannot because the lights are shining in his face. The next morning, he has to take the mail and can hardly stay awake. The same incident happens the following night, but the day after, Henry breaks down and has to stay out in the countryside. Henry feels afraid as it is so dark he cannot even see his own buffers. Early next morning, two big lights move across the nearby field. It's Terence the Tractor working late. Henry feels reassured by Terence's lights. Later, he learns Thomas and Percy are working late in the yard for the following week, but Henry did not mind. In fact, he never complained about the lights in the yard again.
