Mud Glorious Mud is a US and Canadian DVD release featuring one restored third series episode narrated by George Carlin, two sixth series episodes narrated by Alec Baldwin, one seventh series episode, one tenth series episode, and one Jack and the Sodor Construction Company episode narrated by Michael Brandon, and three songs. It was re-released on DVD in 2008 by Anchor Bay Entertainment and later re-released in 2009 by Lionsgate and in 2014 by Universal.

Description

Ride the rails and roads with Thomas and his friends in these action-packed adventures. It's stormy weather so hold on tight through mud baths and avalanches. Nothing can stop these really useful engines from a job well done!

  • The filedates of the DVD show that it was finished on January 31, 2008.
  • This and Thomas' Halloween Adventures are the only releases to have George Carlin and Alec Baldwin credited in the eighth to tenth series intro as well as the only George Carlin and Alec Baldwin releases to feature the eighth to tenth series intro, transitions, and end credits.

  • Steve Asquith is not credited in the opening for directing A Friend in Need, Mud, Glorious Mud or Missing Freight Cars.
  • In the end credits:
    • Steve Asquith was not given credit for directing "A Friend in Need."
    • Robert Hartshorne isn't credited as the music composer for "Not So Hasty Cakes", "Missing Cars" & "Mud Glorious Mud."
    • "Useful" in "Edward the Really Useful Engine" is misspelled as "Usefull."
    • Phil Fehrle is credited as "Phill Fearle."
    • The word "director" is misspelled as "dierector."
  • Not So Hasty Cakes is titled "Thomas and the Avalanche," but there is no avalanche in the episode.
  • Maithwaite is painted dark brown on the front cover and the disc.
  • Isobella is taller than Thomas on the front cover
