Mrs. Kyndley's cottage is a small cottage situated on Thomas' branch line near Hackenbeck.
The cottage was almost buried in snow once, but luckily Thomas, Toby and Terence came to help clear the snow away.
In the 1999 magazine story, Brave Thomas, a fire started to spread in a nearby field close to the cottage, but luckily, Thomas helped the firemen to stop the fire from spreading.
