Just Right is a magazine story.
Plot
A cold winter's day makes things difficult for Thomas and his friends. D261 crashes into the wall of the engine shed and the Fat Controller places a sheet over the wall, hoping that it will keep the engines warm at night. But the cold weather makes things difficult as it freezes the door shut. Whilst the driver and guard try to free it, a relief fireman warms Thomas up too much, making him feel unwell. Suddenly the door opens and the engines puff out into the cold, much relieved.

Trivia
- D261 crashing into the shed wall may be a reference to when Old Stuck-Up crashed into a shed wall in James and the Diesel Engines. This would make sense, as D261 and Old Stuck-Up are the same basis.
