- “What a slow engine, I'm more like a snail!”
In a Hurry! is a short, rhyming magazine story.
At the quarry, Mavis is pulling a truck full of stone and as she passes a station, she sees that it is already midday and she is running late. Mavis is further delayed by a steep hill and fears she is going slower than a snail. But going downhill, the heavy load works to her advantage as she speeds past the other engines.
