Ice Carving is a rhyming magazine story.

Peter Sam is taking passengers through the fog and snow to see a special sculpture show. When it was time to go home, he takes the sculptor along with the other passengers. On the way, she sees a frozen waterfall. This gives her an idea and she quickly sets to work by carving into the ice. Soon, she has made an engraving of a giant fish on the waterfall!

  • Peter Sam looks a little large for a narrow gauge engine.
  • Peter Sam has his old funnel.
  • The fish engraving is larger in the final illustration than in any proceeding picture.
