“See I am able,
To go round now on this turntable!”
― Henry

Riding Around! is a rhyming magazine story that was re-released as a shorter story puzzle under the title Henry's Dizzy Day in 2003.

Plot

One morning, Henry is chuffing along the main line when Harold comes buzzing through the sky above him. Harold boasts about his whirly blades and how they make him go so fast. Once he's gone, Henry spies an old windmill with its sails blowing round without a sound. Next, Henry's driver points out some children playing on a roundabout. Henry smiles as he thinks about all the things he's seen going around today.

Then, Henry has to stare at something special in the fairground he passes. It's a ferris wheel giving rides to excited people. Henry thinks he would be so dizzy if he were to ride on it and is glad that his railway track is so straight.

Back at the yard, before he can rest in the shed, Henry must turn around himself with a ride on the turntable.
