- “What are you playing at, Harold? We thought you were going to crash!”
Harold Goes Quiet is a magazine story.
Gordon and Henry are moaning about how noisy things that fly are; first a jet plane, then Harold, then a wasp. Later they see Harold and make as much noise as they can to see how he likes annoying noises. Then, Harold's blades suddenly stop and the helicopter comes plummeting towards the ground as the terrified engines watch. Just before he hits the ground his blades start up again and Harold makes a bumpy landing. The engines rush to see if Harold is hurt. Harold explains that they are training a new pilot and were performing an emergency landing. The engines are relieved and now they like Harold's noise.
