Glider Rider is a magazine story.
Plot
All of the engines are playing a game in which they look into the sky to see what they can see. Percy sees a huge kite, but the others do not believe him. The next day, he sees it again. It turns out to be a hang-glider. When it lands, it gets swept into a pond by a gust of wind and Percy goes to rescue the glider. The engines still do not believe him, but the following day, the man and his friends hold a display for the engines.
