The Sodor Power Station is responsible for producing all of the electricity on the Island of Sodor.
History
Once, Thomas had to take engineers to repair the electrics at the power station, however got lost while trying to see a shooting star. After making a wish to see what was ahead, a shooting star appeared in the sky over him, allowing him to see the power station. Eventually, the workmen fixed the electrics and Thomas was able to return home.[1]
In magazine stories, the power station is shown to be coal fired has a narrow gauge line run by Little Barford.[2] Murdoch delivered coal here when the power station ran out, causing a blackout.[3]
