Trivia

  • The gameplay is similar to Railway Adventures.
  • Pictures of Bandai's Thomas Engine Collection Series were used on the cover and controller.
  • Thomas has his whistle sound from some instances of the fourth series to the fifth series episode Baa!, which, in turn, is Edward's normal whistle sound.
  • Edward has his whistle sound from the fourth to the fifth series.
  • Gordon shares Duck's whistle sound as he did in the fourth and (occasionally) in the fifth series.
    • Additionally, both Donald and Douglas also share Duck's whistle sound as they did in the fourth series.
  • James has his whistle sound from the fourth to the fifth series episode Make Someone Happy.
  • Bertie has his fourth series horn sound, which he shares with Sir Topham Hatt's yellow car.

Goofs

  • Oliver, Mavis, and the narrow gauge engines all share Duck's whistle sound, despite Mavis being a diesel engine.
  • Bill and Ben both share Percy's whistle sound.
  • Trevor has no whistle sound.
  • Annie, Clarabel, and the Troublesome Trucks are able to move on their own even though they are rolling stock. This aspect would later be present in the reboot, Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, although it's very inconsistent throughout that series.
  • James, Toby, Donald, Douglas, Bill, Ben, Mavis, and the narrow gauge engines all have grey wheels instead of black ones.
  • Toby is not shown to be emitting steam, despite that he's a tram engine.
  • Thomas' side rods are black instead of grey.
  • When Thomas greets Duck, part of Duck's right side tanks is missing and his running board is red.
  • Duck's wheelarches and sandbox are green instead of black.
  • When Duck, Bill, Ben, and Peter Sam are moving forward, their wheels are going backwards.
  • Whenever Thomas fails in a mini-game, Sir Topham Hatt is smiling, when he should be cross.
  • When Thomas completes a mini game, Tidmouth Sheds has seven berths instead of six. This change would later happen at the end of the 2005 special, Calling All Engines!.
  • Peter Sam has his old funnel.
  • Duke's cylinders are black instead of brown.
