Tube Trouble is a magazine story.
Plot
The Fat Controller is always very busy, but one cold day, he starts puffing and working slowly. He does not feel well at all. It is not long before Henry pulls into the station. One of his passengers is a doctor, who the stationmaster asks to give the Fat Controller a check-up.
The doctor concludes that the Fat Controller has a chest cold and gives him some medicine. Outside, Henry is hissing and spluttering. He tells the Fat Controller that he does not feel well. The Fat Controller asks the doctor to listen to Henry's boiler. The doctor tells the Fat Controller that it sounds like Henry has blocked tubes and is sent to the Works. A few days later, both the Fat Controller and Henry are feeling much better.
