Sodor Slate Quarry is a quarry located just south of the Blue Mountain Quarry on the northern slope of Shane Dooiney. It first appeared in the twelfth series. Mavis has been known to work here.

Trivia

• From the twelfth series onwards, the quarry shared the same set used for Ffarquhar Quarry.
• Since Thomas and Diesel bashed 'Arry and Bert through the back of the shed, it now has rails running straight through it.
