The Proudest Train (Greek: Το πιο περήφανο τρένο) is a Greek DVD featuring eight eighth series episodes narrated by Vina Papadopoulou.

Ο Τόμας το Τρενάκι χαίρεται πολὺ όταν βοηθά τον κόσµο. Έτσι, είναι ο πρώτος που προσφέρεται να μεταφέρει τους εργάτες στη δουλειά τους και τα παιδιά στο λιμάνι. Το µόνο που δεν του αρέσει είναι τα φορτία των ψαραδων, επειδή η μυρωδιά των ψαριών τον ενοχλεί. Όταν όµως φτάνει η γιορτή του θερισμού, ενδουσιάζεται, αφού για άλλη μια φορά θα θαυμάσει τα υπέροχα πυροτεχνήματα στον ουρανό. Τα υπόλοιπα τρένα, ο Τζόνι, η Ἐμιλι και ο Τζέρι, είναι πάντα στο πλευρό του, περήφανα για τη δουλειά που κάνουν, ακόµα και όταν ο Σπένσερ, το τρὲνο του δούκα, προσπαθεί να τα πείσει ότι έχουν πια γέράσει.
English translation
Thomas the Train is very happy when he helps people. Thus, he is the first to offer to transport the workers to their work and the children to the port. The only thing he doesn't like is the fishermen's loads, because the smell of fish bothers him. But when the harvest festival arrives, he gives in, since once again he will admire the wonderful fireworks in the sky. The other trains, Johnny, Emily and Jerry, are always by his side, proud of the work they do, even when Spencer, the duke's train, tries to convince them that they are getting old.

Trivia
- The front cover uses the same promotional image as Trains Make Mistakes Too! and It's Great to Be an Engine!
- The DVD starts out with the 1998 remastered Series 1-5 intro with a title card of Thomas and the Firework Display spliced in. As such, it incorrectly credits Ringo Starr as narrator and David Mitton as director.
- After the intro, shots from the episodes Fish and Emily's Adventure are played to prevent the Thomas and the Firework Display title card from being shown twice.
- The episodes are presented in production order.
