The Beach is a rhyming magazine story.
Plot
On the beach, some boys are playing football when Bulstrode warns them that the tide is coming in. Then, one of the boys kicks the football too hard and it lands in the sea - leaving the boy who owns the ball in tears. The rough waves wash the ball into Bulstrode's hull where it is safe. The barge then instructs the boy to return for his ball the following day.
