The Scrap Monster is a pile of scrap on a flatbed that James left out on the main line in Tale of the Brave, hoping that Percy would find it and believe that it was a monster.
It was made by Reg using a tractor, a harrow, rusty wheels, a steam shovel, a lorry, an old water wheel, an old lamp post, rusty pipes and siderods, and a conveyor belt.
