Main Page

Pocket Library, also titled as Super Library in some editions, is a series of miniature books. Each box contains six books. The first was published in 1995 and then new editions were released in 1999 by Heinemann Young Books, 2002, 2005, 2015 and 2019. Until 2015, all contained photos from the television series.

1995 Edition

Contains five stories from the third series of the television series and a book presenting some of the characters.

1999 Edition

Contains six stories from the third and fourth series of the television series.

It was released again in 2000 with a new box and the new logo on the covers.

2002 Edition

Contains six stories from the fifth series of the television series.

2005 Edition

Contains six stories from the eighth series of the television series.

This edition was re-released in 2011 in a larger form under the name The Steam Team Collection.

2010 Edition

Contains six stories from the twelfth series of the television series.

This edition was re-released in 2012 in a larger form under the name Super Library.

2015 Edition

Contains six stories and was released on 30th April 2015. The books are illustrated by Dan Crisp although he does not receive credit for his work. This is the first edition in the series to feature original stories in the form of rhymes and original illustrations.

2015 Super Library

Contains six larger form books based on episodes from the CGI Series.

2019 Edition

Contains six stories and was released on 10th January 2019. The stories featuring Thomas, James and Percy are "best-loved storied from the original library" while Gordon, Nia and Emily will receive brand new stories.
