Rosie's Really Useful Scrap! is a magazine story.
Plot
Rosie is busy collecting scrap for the scrapyard, a job which Gordon thinks is a waste of time. After all, no one wants scrap! On her way to the scrapyards, Rosie passes over a springy track and some of the metal in her trucks topples onto Gordon's express line.
Gordon is due any minute and the load is way too heavy for Rosie's crew to lift. Gordon draws nearer and tried to brake, but the scrap is snatched out of the way - just in time. It is the owner of the scrapyard with his magnetic crane. Gordon is very glad that someone is so keen for scrap!
