Right on Time Rescues is a sounds board book which comes with a free toy tool kit.
Plot
Thomas is trying to do his first job of the day but can't couple up to Annie and Clarabel. Meanwhile, Harvey is passing through and spots Thomas, who states that he probably needs his coupling replacing. The book asks the reader to use the screwdriver to screw the button next to Topham, so Thomas is able to get a brand-new coupling.
Next, Harvey is going to the Ffarquhar Branch Line and while he's passing along, he spots Mavis, along with some Troublesome Trucks that, according to Mavis, had been rattling ever since they'd left the quarry and eventually, the trucks derailed. Mavis's chassis got dented in the process. The reader uses the hammer and the button next to Thomas in order to fix Mavis.
Finally, Harvey runs into Harold, who wants to take off but can't because he states that one of his rotor screws feel a bit loose. Readers must use the screwdriver given with the book to repair the button next to Harvey on the cover.
Harvey arrives back at the station, being greeted by Sir Topham Hatt, who congratulates Harvey as well as the reader for helping across the Island of Sodor.
