Rain or Shine is a magazine story.
Plot
One sunny morning, Thomas is puffing out of the main station to collect some umbrellas. Percy is puzzled as it does not look like rain and has to take some schoolchildren to the beach to study the seashore. But while rattling along the coastal line, it is soon hotter than ever. Soon the children are in desperate need of some shade when Thomas arrives. Although Percy insists that it is not going to rain, Thomas explains that they are beach umbrellas.
