Percy and the Vicar's Prizes is the first story in the 1992 Annual.
Plot
The Sunday Schools in the valley are having one big party in the village near the river. The Fat Controller gives the engines special tasks for it except Percy, who is told to keep the trucks in order. On the morning of the party, as Thomas arrives at the station by the river, the vicar realises that he left his suitcase with all the prizes inside back at Ffarquhar. However, Thomas soon comes up with a solution; he tells everyone that Percy is able to bring it down. Later, Percy arrives with the suitcase just in time for the big party.
