Launching Lizzie is a magazine story.
Plot
Stephen and Bridget join the Sodor Sailing Club, but before they can have their first sailing lesson, the dinghy is washed out to sea and smashed up. The Fat Controller holds a visitor's day at the Main Station to raise money for the sailing club. It is such a success, they have enough for a brand new dinghy. Whilst taking the dinghy to the works to have a name painted on it, Duck breaks down but, luckily, Elizabeth takes the children and their dinghy to the works. In return, the children name the boat "Lizzie", after Elizabeth.
