Edward's Day Out and Edward and Gordon is a 1957 vinyl 7in EP record featuring the first two stories from The Three Railway Engines narrated by Wilbert Awdry. A later release was narrated in 1961 by Johnny Morris.
Trivia
- In January 2013, the Lost Noises Offices released Johnny Morris' record for digital download. However, the record was deleted soon after because it was impossible to sell at a reasonable price due to the small production costs, royalty costs to publishers and discounts to retailers.
- Despite Thomas being on the Australian cover, he is not acknowledged in any of the stories.
Goofs
- Awdry says that Edward was to receive a new coat of blue paint with yellow stripes, instead of red stripes.
