Diesels with Measles! is a short rhyming magazine story.
Rhyme
Salty the Dockside Diesel
Was shunting busily.
As BoCo helped, the wind got up,
It blew in from the sea.
Later, Bill and Ben arrived,
The twins have quite a fright!
The Diesels had changed colour,
Both were spotted white!
"Those Diesels have got measles,"
Salty heard the shocked twins say.
"Measles spots are red," he called,
"This is harmless sea-salt spray!"
