The Lumber Mill (also known as the Timber Yard, the Timber Mill or the Sawmill) is where trees are cut up into lumber to be put to good use.

History

When Henry's Forest was damaged by a storm, Henry took the fallen trees here to be reused.

During the rebuilding of Tidmouth Sheds, Thomas bumped 'Arry and Bert's flatbeds, causing the yard's crane to drop its timber onto the tracks. This backfired when Thomas later discovered this had delayed the sheds' rebuilding.

In the magazines, it is managed by the Sawmill Manager and produces sleepers. Thomas was once sent here to collect some new sleepers to replace the old ones.
