Buzzy Bees is a magazine story, illustrated by using photographs from the CGI television series. It was later published in the 2013 Holiday Annual.

Plot

Hiro has some bees for Thomas to deliver. During the journey, Thomas passes a field with lots of pretty flowers. Thomas is cross when the bees leave their hives to go to the flowers. Then, Thomas has an idea. He rushes to Farmer McColl's and collects a flatbed of flowers. The bees like Thomas' flatbed of flowers so much, they will not go into their hives and they buzz all around Thomas; but Thomas just continues his journey through the woods. The woods are too cold and dark for the bees, so they disappear back into their hives and Thomas completes the rest of the journey successfully.
