Henry's Tunnel, is a two-bore tunnel on the Main Line which Henry once stopped in.
History
In the first series and The Adventure Begins, Henry stopped in the tunnel and would not come out so as not to get his paint wet. After exhausting all other options, the Fat Controller walled him in the tunnel. He was later let out when Gordon burst his safety valve while pulling the Express.
In the fourth series, the tunnel was blocked by an elephant and Henry had to take some workmen to clear it. In the thirteenth series, while painted pink, James - much like Henry before - hid in the tunnel, though eventually came out. In the nineteenth series, Thomas hid in the tunnel from the Fat Controller after lying about an accident, until being forced out when Spencer came in behind him.

Trivia
- Between the first and fourth series, Henry's Tunnel was placed between Knapford and Crosby on maps of Sodor. Since Day of the Diesels, the tunnel has consistently been shown to be in its original location from The Railway Series, between Vicarstown and Crovan's Gate.
- The tracks running through the tunnels have stayed quite inconsistent. In the first to fourth series, there was 1 track running through the right tunnel and 2 on the left. In Thomas and the Magic Railroad, there are 2 tracks running through both tunnels and two tracks on top of the tunnel. In Series 7, there is 1 track running through each tunnel. In the very next series, there are 2 tracks running through each tunnel. It stays this way throughout all of CGI, with the exception of Blue Mountain Mystery removing one line from each bore to reflect how the tunnel looked in the original book illustrations, and The Great Race adding one more track up above.
