Ben Forster (1st January 1958 - 2nd January 2017) was an English actor who played Mr. Perkins between the episodes on CGI Series DVDs and on Thomas' YouTube World Tour.
He has had various minor roles on British television, but his most recent role was as a deliveryman in BBC's comedy series "Miranda", in 2010. He has been in various television shows including "The Bill", "The Molly Wopsies", "Doctors", "Casualty", "Heartbeat", "The Office", "The Basil Brush Show", "My Parents are Aliens" and "Family Affairs".
He died on 2nd January 2017 a day after his 59th birthday. He battled cancer prior to his death.

- In an interview with SIF, he revealed a few things, including:
- His favourite character was Thomas, but he did have a soft spot for Percy.
- His favourite segment that he worked on was "Mr. Perkins' Railway Lesson" from The Lion of Sodor.
- He attempted to make the Thomas cake in the segment "Mr. Perkins's Cake" from Splish, Splash, Splosh!, with an unsuccessful result. He was aided by the set designers.
