Trivia[]

  • The rescue of the Cadeby Light Railway's Pixie by Teddy Boston inspired the story of Duke's rediscovery in Sleeping Beauty.
    • Unlike Duke, who The Fat Clergyman found by falling through the roof of his shed, since they didn't know his shed was hidden by the trees and bushes, Pixie was found by experimentally lifting the shed's door from it's hinges, as when Boston went to Cranford Stone Quarries' (where he found her) manager to see if he could buy Pixie, the manager confirmed that there was an engine in there, but the key to the shed was lost, so he suggested the idea of lifting the shed door off of it's hinges, which Teddy agreed to.
  • Wilbert Awdry's model of John, an 0-4-0ST from the Mid Sodor Railway, bares resemblance to Pixie.
