Diesels and Steam Engines is a rhyming magazine story.
Plot
The diesels and the steam engines are arguing about their differences as usual, but this time, the Fat Controller has had enough. The workload is not getting done and he tells his engines that if they do not stop quarrelling, they will be sent to their sheds and he will use lorries and buses instead.
With the thoughts of lorries and buses taking their jobs, the engines all say sorry to one another and get back to working side-by-side.
