David Bedella was born in Chicago on September 25th, 1962. He provides voices for the US and UK narrations of Thomas and Friends.

He has had a few minor roles in films such as "Batman Begins" and "Red Light Runners", but he mostly performs in stage musicals including the controversial "Jerry Springer - The Opera". He also played a recurring character in the BBC's medical drama "Holby City" in 2004.
