Christopher "Chris" Renshaw is a musician who took over as music composer of the series following the departure of Robert and Peter Hartshorne. He began composing for the series starting with Thomas & Friends in 4-D: Bubbling Boilers. He also has composed the music for The Great Race, Journey Beyond Sodor and the twentieth season.
Prior to becoming the composer of the series, he worked as a Recording Engineer for Tale of the Brave, The Adventure Begins, Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure and The Great Race.
