“Why have you stopped there, Ben?"
"I'm pulling coaches so I have to stop at stations. I love to stop at stations!”
― Edward and Ben

Ben at the Station is a magazine story.

Plot

One day, Bill and Ben are having a usual argument. This time, it is about stations. Bill likes to go right from the quarry to the harbor while Ben likes to make small stops at the stations. Later, Sir Topham Hatt says that a passenger train is needed to be taken while Thomas and Percy are taking special trains to a football game. Bill volunteers Ben, who agrees. Ben is happy to finally make a proper stop at a station. However, when he arrives, Edward chuckles. Ben asks why and Edward replies by saying that Ben had left the coaches too far from the platform. Ben quickly moves forward and suggests that he should just stay in the quarry with Bill.
