Badgers' Way is a rhyming magazine story.


Part of Bertie's route is a very bumpy country road. Once, the bus found he had to pull up sharply to avoid some badgers. A few days later, George is bought in to flatten the road. Also, a pipe was laid below the road for the badgers to use so that they did not cause an accident. As a result, that part of Bertie's route has now been renamed Badgers' Way.
