A Special Treat for Thomas is a magazine story.

Plot

Thomas has had a lot of jobs lately, and one day he feels ill. When the engineers can't find anything wrong with him the Fat Controller realises that Thomas has being working too hard, so he gives him a special treat - taking children to the seaside.
