A Special Story About Bulgy is a rhyming magazine story.
One morning, Bulgy is feeling so glum that he dozes off in his field and does not even notice the farmer's children arrive. They are carrying brooms, brushes and a soapy sponge. They start cleaning Bulgy and soon they have removed all of the mud and grime. Then, with their father's permission, the children start playing on Bulgy. Even Bertie thinks Bulgy now looks like a bus should.
