'Arry and Bert is the thirty-fourth book in the My Thomas Story Library series.
Plot
It is Halloween and Thomas and Emily are sent to the Smelter's Yard for work. 'Arry and Bert's tricks scare them, until the diesels come buffer to buffer with a ghost engine.

- 'Arry and Bert have red bufferbeams and are missing the words "Sodor Ironworks" on their sides. They are also missing their side rods and have grey wheels.
- Bert has no stubble on his face.
